Nothing joins the call
Most meeting tools send a bot that appears in the participant list, has to be admitted, and tells the other side they are being recorded by a third-party service. ActiveLens captures the meeting from your own device instead. Your client sees a normal meeting with you in it.

In-person meetings, including the ones that must be exact
Open the app and record the room. Speaker detection separates who said what, and renaming a speaker once updates the whole transcript.
Some of these meetings produce a record that has to stand up later — council protocols, board minutes, disciplinary hearings, client meetings where what was agreed matters. Suggested corrections flag likely transcription errors, and the editing tools are built for a record that has to be right, not just readable.

Can't make it, or need the video? Send a stand-in.
Capturing from your own device works when you're in the meeting. For the one you can't attend, or one where you want the video, send a stand-in: an optional, visible participant that you send to one meeting at a time. The meetings you attend yourself are still captured with nothing joining.

Paste the link, or pick the meeting
Paste a Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex or GoTo Meeting link, then choose Join now or schedule a time. With your Google or Microsoft calendar connected, you can pick it from your upcoming meetings instead, with no copy-paste. The calendar is optional.

It joins as a visible participant
Everyone in the meeting sees it, named after you: "Dana's ActiveLens Notetaker". It records the video and the audio, and leaves when the meeting ends.

The meeting lands in your Active Hub
As an ordinary ActiveLens call, with the transcript, summary, chapters, action items and Ask Anything, plus the meeting video, which plays right on the call page. A Video badge marks it, and the Stand-in filter finds them all.
Someone in the meeting may need to let the stand-in in — from the Zoom waiting room, the Teams lobby or a Google Meet join request. It waits up to 10 minutes to be admitted, then leaves. Webinars, live events and meetings that only admit signed-in users don't accept it.
