Phone calls

Call recording and summaries on the phone you already use.

No PBX replacement. No dialer swap. No integration with your phone system. ActiveLens records, transcribes, and summarizes your business calls — and turns them into follow-ups.

Why your note-taker doesn't work on the phone

AI note-takers were built for video meetings, where three platforms cover nearly every call. The phone is the opposite: 101 different systems across the US and EU, none of them big enough to be worth building for on its own. So the tools skipped it.

There is a technical reason too. Online meeting platforms announce what is happening in a standard way — a meeting started, these people joined, it ended. VoIP dialers do not. Every one behaves differently, and most of them tell you nothing at all. A tool built to listen to Zoom simply has nothing to listen to on a phone system.

What ActiveLens works out on its own

Rather than asking your phone system for any of this, ActiveLens determines it on your own device — which is why the same technology works on every dialer.

    That a call has started

The moment a conversation begins, capture starts on its own. Nothing to press, and no dependency on the dialer announcing anything.

    When the call ended

The end of the conversation is detected just as reliably, so each call is stored as its own record rather than one long stream of audio.

The number on the other end

The phone number is captured alongside the conversation, so calls are attributed to the right contact and the right account without anyone typing it in.

This is the part that took the longest to build, and it is the reason ActiveLens needs no integration with your telephony at all. It works generically, across every phone system, because it never asks any of them a question.

    Works with what you have

    Softphones

Any VoIP client running on the desktop — whichever provider your business uses.

    Desk phones

Captured through the desktop app alongside your existing handset.

    Mobile

iOS and Android apps, so calls made on the road are captured too.

    Optional hardware

No softphone? There is a device for that.

Some teams work from a desk phone or a mobile rather than a softphone on the computer. For them, ActiveLens has a small device that connects to any desk phone and any mobile phone, and passes the call audio through to the computer automatically.

Nothing is ever recorded on the device or on the phone itself. Audio passes straight through to the computer, where the same access controls, retention rules, and security apply as to every other conversation in ActiveLens.

What you get after every call

    A full transcript

    Accurate, speaker-separated, searchable, and editable.

A summary that is actually useful

Why they called, what was discussed, what was agreed, and what happens next.

    The follow-ups, drafted

The email, the task, the CRM update — ready before you have moved on to the next call.

    A record you can retrieve

Retention and retrieval built in, for teams that need to show what was said.

    About recording consent

Call-recording law varies by country and by state, and some jurisdictions require the consent of every party. You are responsible for obtaining consent and complying with the law where you and the people you call are located. ActiveLens is built for businesses recording their own conversations with disclosure — not for recording people without their knowledge.

    Start capturing every conversation.
