ActiveLens Ltd. has completed a SOC 2 Type 2 examination (security, availability, confidentiality, privacy), which also assessed HIPAA Security Rule safeguards. We sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA).
What data does ActiveLens read from eClinicalWorks?
Only what's needed to identify the patient and add context: name, phone number, date of birth for matching, last and upcoming visits, provider, location and active insurance. Nothing clinical, such as labs or medications. Access is read-only.
What if the caller isn't the patient (parent, family member)?
ActiveLens matches by the phone number on file and by the patient name spoken on the call. When one phone belongs to several patients, staff pick the right one in a click.
Does it work for multi-location practices?
Yes. The summary shows the location of each visit, and calls can be filtered by patient across locations.
Who sets it up?
Your eClinicalWorks administrator enables the ActiveLens app. Your ActiveLens admin connects the practice and maps providers and staff to ActiveLens users.
